CDO.Message Receive mail

Recommended Posts

JdeB's smtp sending works great (http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=23860). How do I use CDO.Message to get mail? I'm on MSDN right now, but haven't found the page that starts explaining that part.

o.O That's not a very positive way to look at life...

Essentially these just do a basic TCP connection to a POP server and send POP commands ( http://www.livinginternet.com/e/ew_pop_pop3.htm ) to get the mail.

You're right. I'm rather down today, feeling as though I'm in the shadows of giants.

thanks great resource!! I've extracted Sheckandar's function for email checking (http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21820) and added an additional parameter to allow for different ports (eg http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13276) (you can see below). Nonetheless it just hangs. Furthermore, I followed the instructions on this (http://www.kozco.com/popmail/manpop.html), but it would let me use the password.

Thanks I'll keep researching.
