Screenshot saver

Hello Everyone,

I can't put a Screenshot in a file. Can any body help me?

What I do is like this:

Send("{Screenshot}")

//Now I got the Screenshot but how can I put this in a file?

I can't use Fileopen because it says filename Filename of the text file to open.

aren't screen shots automatically saved into some temporary folder?

look at Au3Lib

you have to use a DLL to do this but Au3Lib has simplified that

easy! , as i said download Au3lib , install it and try this:

#include <A3LScreenCap.au3>
_ScreenCap_Capture(@DesktopDir &'\Screenshot.jpg')
Exit

PS: scite has autocomplete if you want more features look at _ScreenCap....

EDIT: instead of autocomplete i typed autoitcomplete

Oh, this is great. I've written a scrpit to do this, but it works different. It waits a few seconds after you run it so it gives you time to move the windows you want to capture. Then it runs mspaint and pastes the picture there and saves it haha, but this is much better. Thanks!

are you having troubles installing autoit library?

what exacly is the error? you have to install it in AutoIt's dir
