spac3m0nk3y
Is there a way to detect whether a folder is in use? What I'm wanting to do is watch a network share for new folders and if a new folder is found, move the folder to another share but only if there are no new files being created in the folder to be moved. DW1
At first I was thinking by size, but that wouldn't work because a lot of programs first "bloat" their files to take up the drive space, then rewrite the actual data to it (not changing its size) Just an idea: You could check the "Date Modified" Value twice, and if it didn't change on ANY file in the DIR then you can rest assured that no file is being written to.
