Controls which are not identified using the autoit tool

3 posts in this topic

Our application is developed in VB.

we are using autoit for testing our application.

We have to enable the control by clicking the mouse in some parts of the application (which is identified as an MSHFlexGridWndClass) and then only we can identify the controls. We are able to solve it using the send keys. Is there any option, to get the number of rows and columns in the Flexi grid control & get the content of the text on this FlexGrid

Thanks

What is the COM, .dll, .ocx, etc. interface to do ANYTHING with an MSHFlexGrid control (outside of the VB source code)? I don't think there's a stock Windows API to it.

:)

P.S. Found a little more info in another topic, see: How to handle a MSFlexGrid

:P

The application we are using is developed in VB and it consists of many third party controls like MSHFlexGrid. Is there any autoit code for the identifying the controls which are developed in COM interface Edited by mmahima
