Hide a column in a listview ?

I'm having a password like column in a listview and I want to hide it for security reason. Can anyone show me an example please ? Thanks.

1) delete column: GUICtrlSendMsg($listview,$LVM_DELETECOLUMN,$col,0)

or

2) set the columnwidth to 0: LVM_SETCOLUMNWIDTH

I have tried but when the list is empty then the column is hide, but when I add item to it, the column is shown again. Can you give me an example please ?

LVM_SETCOLUMNWIDTH must be called after each data change in ListView.
