Impulse08
Does anyone have an easy way to set NTFS permissions from within AutoIT?We use CALCS to set NTFS permissions. It's a pretty good utility. Don't know how to do it in AutoIt, but though this may help.http://www.ss64.com/nt/cacls.html -- If the apocalypse comes... beep me.
PsaltyDS
If you want to do it from the command line (with RunDOS(), Run(), RunWait(), ShellExecute(), etc.) then use SetACL.exe (command line version). There is also an ActiveX OCX file on that same page to provide a COM object interface, which ptrex has demonstated using from inside AutoIt without any command lines at all.Cheers!
