I think what he meant was that you cannot see the comment field, as it's not an option there.

Yup, that's what I mean.

I want to totally remove the 'Comment' field. How do I do it? Even removing the '#AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_Comment=' directives does not seem to work.

Again: have you try puting in just :

#AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_Comment=

?

This WILL make the comments field empty

There is no option to remove the field all together..

Yes there is ... but not with the standard Directives.

All you need to do is: Create a new Version info RES file and replace the current version information with ResHacker.
