tAKTelapis Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Most likely due to updates in the UDFs or Functions that you are using. Some get bigger as they are revised. Also, the interpreter that gets crammed in might have changed slightly as well. Its to be expected, Personally i don't see a real problem, unless you have some serious space limitations.
MadBoy Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 When compiled with the 3.2.2.0 version my script was smaller but when I compiled it with the latest 3.2.6.0 version, the file became bigger, up to 200KB bigger. Is it due to ASCII or other factors? As explained somewhere already it is compiled with newer version of Visual Studio. It fixes some time bug thanks to that + makes jon job easier. My little company: Evotec (PL version: Evotec)
Zedna Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Also Unicode support was added which affects EXE size. See changelog for complete list of changes ... Resources UDF ResourcesEx UDF AutoIt Forum Search
