dpace32 0 Posted September 4, 2007 I am new to AutoIT and recently read about AU3recorder. According to the documentation I read, you just need to be in SCITE and hold ALT press F6 to enter AU3recorder mode. Unfortunately when I do this it does absolutely nothing! I installed AutoIT directly from their site and am running Scite4 on Vista. Any suggestions? Thanks!

herewasplato 3 Posted September 4, 2007 Perhaps I was not clear in my other post...When you install AutoIt, you get what I will call a light version of the SciTE4AutoIt3 editor. It does not have the recorder that you are seeking. Please install the full version of the SciTE4AutoIt3 editor, open a file with the AU3 file extension and then check for the recorder in the tool menu.http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/downloads.phpBTW, the screen shot that you posted does not happen to show an open AU3 file. I get that same menu when selecting tools if I open a file with the TXT extension.-MSP- ..
