Change default app to open file with via Registry?

4 posts in this topic

You know, when you right-click a file and say Open With, then set it to be the default program to open the document... how can I do this through the registry? I found the directory in HKEY_USERS, but my user shows up as "S-5-155-" and on and on.. and I'm not sure how that relates to my actual username so I can automate this.

Thanks. That look's like it'll work.
