Button Submits

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help me with this? I'm trying to get my script to click a submit button but it doesn't use the <input type="submit" kind of tags it uses <button type="submit" kind of tags. Anyone have any ideas? If I could get it to a variable like $oButton = *w/e code here to get the button handle* I could use $oButton.click to click it I know. I would really appreciate any help. Also before you ask it does NOT have an id="" or name="" tag.

Hate to double post but I've also tried

$oForm = _IEFormGetCollection($oIE,3)
    $oButton = _IEFormElementGetCollection($oForm, 0)
    $oButton.click

with 0,1,2,3,etc and up to around 12 for _IEFormElementGetCollection

$oButton = _IETagNameGetCollection($oIE, "button", your-index)

_IEAction($oButton, "click")

where your-index is the 0-based index of the button you want... if it is the first button tag the index is 0

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?
