Run(. . .) - Error

4 posts in this topic

Hi,

I'm trying to use the Run function. However, what ever i try, just won't work.

Run("Silkroad.exe", "C:\Program Files\Silkroad")

The directory is right, I've tried w/o the directory. I can't get it to open anything, except for scripts that I made.

I know this is a retarded question, but what's wrong?

I don't really understand what is not working.

Does this run the Silroad.exe?

If it does what doesn't work after that?

You might want to post some more code or explain your problem a bit more.

It says, "Error: Unable to execute the external program. The system cannot find the file specified."

It can run Notepad and scripts that i have made.

It doesn't launch silkroad at all. More code probably won't help, it's all just gui stuff etc. The problem is that line.

EDIT: Nahuel, that works. Thanks, when i tired that i did

Run("Silkroad.exe", "C:\Program Files\Silkroad\Silkroad.exe")

But what you said works, thanks
