AutoIt 3 Error Messages

I was using Simple Web Browser on a write protected thumb drive, when it writes to the ini, there is an AutoitV3 Error saying that its write protected. They get sort of nagging, and is there a way to turn these off?

The FileWrite, FileWriteLine, and IniWrite functions just return 0 or set @error when they can't write. FileOpen just returns -1 if the file can't be opened for write. None of them generate messages to the desktop unless some code in the script is doing it.

In short, adjust your script for better error handling (or request the script's author to do it).

In windows xp (maybe others) you can lock and unlock write access to USB pen drives with a registry entry

Unlock

RegWrite ("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies" ,"WriteProtect","REG_DWORD", "0")

Lock

RegWrite ("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies" ,"WriteProtect","REG_DWORD", "1")

Well, thanks for the help, But I was testing to see how SWB did on a write protected drive, like a thumbdrive. There is a switch on the side of my thumbdrive that locks it. I turned the switch to lock, and when SWB starts it gives me an AutoitV3 error saying it can not write to the disk. Can I get that too just not show, SWB still works fine with it when I press continue, but I just want to make it so they don't show up.
