Save as in IEcreate

Recommended Posts

I am new to AutoIt

I managed to write a script that goes to a web page e.g. www.snapfiles.com and starts the file download dialog.

I have a small window active "File Dopwnload" on top of the snapfiles webpage.

I have three options Run, Save, Cancel

If I type s it works, if I send s it doesn't work.

How can I in the script select the save?

What I tried is:

$Wind = _IECreate ("http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dladaware.html")

WinWaitActive("File Download")

Send("s")

WinWaitActive("Save As")

Send("{ENTER}")

WinWaitActive("Download Complete")

Send("{ENTER}")

Sleep(1000)

_IEQuit($Wind)

Which does not work .....

You're close. Take a look at ControlClick() and WinClose()

Control Click is much more reliable than sending an !s, though it does work.
