Oh my goodness, that's a lot of posts for one day.

It looks nice, but I also think custom windowing would be interesting to implement.

Hmm...

maybe via skinning child window (limited to shell internal apps only) ?

Nice work on this! It looks pretty good. Maybe add processes that open to the tray so the user can minimize/open them from there.

I don't really like the way there is a beep sound every time you click the desktop...

@All OS's

Are any of these OS's going to start using their desktops for anything (besides two buttons)?

I did something similar to this a few years ago only I called it GameShell. Wasn't anywhere nearly as complex as yours because the idea was to minimise system resources and processes allowing for maximum performance for games. I kinda shelved it when I upgraded my lame 512MB of RAM to 2GB as I didn't see a need for it. Might have to dust it off again.

yes mine will be updates soon, will alot more functions, when i hade tuched up the script that it ill upload it when im back from school

I love the visual and audio effects, those totally rock. What does it do other than change the taskbar and make all the icons disappear though? I would like to see what programs I have open shown somewhere, when you minimize something it disappears <_<. Keep working on it, coming along great.
