MDI Child Window Detection with WinWait()

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to automate the creation of a new sound in the audio editor Goldwave. The command line arguments are insufficient for this process so I have to resort to simulated keystroke. My script queries for a wav length, starts Goldwave and initializes the wav bed as Untitled1. However I can't get WinWait() or WinWaitActive() to detect the MDI child Untitled1 and AutoitInfo doesn't show any statistics once that window is created. Anyone care to lend some insight? :)

Managing the complexities of our daily lives is always our own responsibility; Allowing God to help us and accepting His guidance is our choice. The best choice!
