sandman Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Woah, that's really cool. Great job! NELyon Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Very cool. Just tested it. I had the same problem with SetParent in both Windows and ubuntu, so it's not a problem with your code. It's something up with the SetParent function.
peter123 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Can I maybe have the Source code?? pleaseee?
sandman Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Can I maybe have the Source code?? pleaseee? As he said in his first post, he will release it once the Shell Competition is finished. Achilles Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 here is the link highlight it and copy to you browser to get the code: Make your own F***ing code! That was uncalled for. His comment "I can't wait" could just imply that he thinks that VistaShell is really good and wants to see the source as soon as possible. peter123 Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 IE and Paint don't open but notepad does pretty cool The painting seems to be a major problem, but if they are not MDI child it wouldn't be "inside-application".This is wat I mean, a inside - aplication
DirtDBaK Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 (edited) my thoughts -- Get the vista background changed and get some icons of your own, use my example of function of _SetParent() for the IE, Note Pad, and Paint... <--- Btw: Very nice thought, love the mouse over effects ---> Edited November 14, 2007 by DBak

DirtDBaK Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 you may want to consider using @DesktopwidthoÝ÷ Ù©Ýjëh×6@desktopheight

The Windows will have painting problem and it won't display properly, you can change the background by right clicking but i am planning to add something into it.At the moment i won't create all the controls dynamicly, because you can see all the issues going on.Thanks for the comment guys
