How to turn off windows autorun for removable drives

Does anyone know how to control windows default behaviour when you insert a removable disk ? I am referring to the window that pops up asking what action you would like to take, i.e. open it, display photos, etc. Ideally I would like to stop that window appearing completely, but only for my application. I dont want to affect windows operation for other software.
