finding what is selected

I was wondering for example if there is a part of a picture selected in photoshop or some other picture editing program with some of those selection tools how could i get that selected part of a picture in a gui or just search for some pixels in that selected area?

Use Au3Info tool to get info about control types and/or post some screenshots

Let photoshop put that selected part into the Windows clipboard and then maybe some AutoIt guru knows what to do from there - in a GUI.

maybe it would be possible to copy it inside the gui and then search it there with bounds given inside that gui
