erezlevi Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 hi, is there a way to activate a certain Tray Icon without moving the mouse to it? (not the AutoIt tray but a different program).
PsaltyDS Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 hi,is there a way to activate a certain Tray Icon without moving the mouse to it? (not the AutoIt tray but a different program). The whole taskbar is just a window, "CLASS:Shell_TrayWnd".The system tray on the right is just a toolbar, "CLASS:ToolbarWindow32; INSTANCE:1"The icons on the system tray toolbar can be manipulated with the _GuiCtrlToolBar_* UDF functions, specifically _GUICtrlToolbar_ClickButton(). But, there's a glitch. Gary is getting on in years and in one of his "senior moments" forgot to include that function in the UDF! He claims it was left for the next Beta intentionally, and we love Gary so we pretend to believe that... The function is listed in that post. Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class... Is now in Session! For those who want somebody to write the script for them: RentACoder"Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced." -- Geek's corollary to Clarke's law
