Database to .xla Template

Hi all,

in my company we are using a software which is developed Privately. In the Installation directory of that software, has one Excel file .xla template.

When we are trying to get any data from the software which is stored in a Database, then the .xla file is opened with the data which we requested. Database is not in Local system. That was in a remote system. That .xla file has some VBA macros. When i trying to open that VBA Editor it ask for PASSWORD.

When i tried to find any information in DLL files, in that software installed directory I found more number of DLL's.

Here, i want to know the backend process which is happening after we requesting for the data and opening in the .xla file.

So that i ll handle those data from Autoit for my automation.....
