Can I use autoit as a "wrapper"?

Specifically, I'd like to automate a program, but create an autoit GUI interface and be able to manipulate the automated program through the GUI. I'm kind of new to this.

One other thing, in case it wasn't clear, I'd like the automated program to be "invisible".

maybe a bit more exact info ?

what is "a program" called and is it a normal Windows program with a proper GUI ?

Vague questions will trigger vague answers :D

Yes it is a standard Windows program with a proper GUI interface. I have a script that does exactly what I want, but I want to give it to other people, who might be confused by the scite editor interface.

Compile it. There are many ways including

Right click the au3 file in explorer >> compile

Scite>>Tools>>Compile

and the ever popular Start>>(All) Programs>>AutoIt v3(>>beta)>>Compile script to exe
