zip operations?

Is it possible to make an autoit installer that can do a fileinstall() of a large (200+ meg) folder and unzip it and then do a run() on the setup.exe while maintaining folder structure of the internal folders?

I've had a lot of success with using autoit with the fileinstall() command to embed a setup.exe file, but now I have multiple folders and files that are part of a large install (office 2007). Can someone point me towards the right resource and perhaps an example script if you are feeling generous. In the end I'd just like one big autoit .exe.

I was told that you can use winzip to do a self-extracting archive, but we dont own any winzip licenses. So any pointers towards free utilities would be great if autoit cant do it natively.

Thanks again, you guys have really saved my hide once before!

There are e few udf's in example scripts. Search using advanced options and search for threads with "zip" in the title.

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
