phatzilla Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I've forgotten a password i use to a forum i frequent (And used an erroneous email to register, D'OH) and would like to know if theres anyway i can access the contents of 'auto complete' saved passwords With autoit? I tried downloading software for it, but they make you pay and only show you the first two characters in freeware. I know that for IE 6 (which is what im using at home) it's stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider. I cant really access it though as there's "nothing" there (but i know its because its like protected or something). Any tips? or should i just shell out for the application that does it?
HeffeD Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Sounds sketchy... You can't access the password with your browser?
phatzilla Posted January 18, 2008 Author Posted January 18, 2008 No i can, it fills in, but i need to know what it is in case anything happens (you cant copy paste things in the password field)
