Selecting windows in an application

2 posts in this topic

Hello,

I'm using AutoIT to automate the use of software which runs a machine. This software runs several windows at the same time, but AutoITs window info does not distinguish between them. Is there a way for AutoIT to "see" these different windows?

Or will I have to go the old move-your-mouse way?

Thanks,

Pedro

I'm not sure you're correct that AutoIt doesn't distinguish between them. Using the AuoItInfo tool you should see that each window has a different handle value.

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
