program fails on user's PC

I created a script and debugged it on my Win XP Pro laptop. I compiled it and copied the .exe to the customer's machine (also Win XP Pro but part of a corporate network) with FTP, and ran it by double-clicking on the .exe from Explorer. I was using LogMeIn at the time to watch his screen. The script opened a DOS box for less than a second, and did nothing else. Top of the script has #includes and #dims, then opens a window and reads an .ini file. If it gets that far, it tells me what it read from the .ini, but none of that (window and summary box) never show.

I suspect some kind of permission problem since the user is networked and I'm not. But I don't have enough information to debug this one.

Anybody got an idea?
