I know how i could make a program to move the mouse ect to change my wireless to a static ip and back again however I was wondering if there is a better way... because well... there must be :)

To get a static IP the old fashoned way go here http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm

@ptrex thanks looked at it real fast gonna really read it later but i be there is nothing simple about it (like changing the settings in a txt file :) )

as for ports what do you mean exactly that site shows you on the router how todo it do you mean windows firewall?

um... why would I make a program to port forward? The reason for the static ip ting is because I use wireless on my laptop and typing in the static ip info every day or so is getting old...
