Benchmarking Applications

I am trying to write my first Auto IT file and I need a basic benchmarking utility.

Specifically, I want to compare machines that have 512 Meg of memory and machines with 1 Gig (or more) of memory. I would like to load Excel, Word (have each of them open a average size file) and an email package. From there, do a basic cut/paste into the applications so they get swapped in/out of memory.

Has anyone already created something similar that they can share. If not, I will share what I end up putting together.
