wkain1
I have been starting to use the beta version of AutoIt with the new RunAs functions. According to Valik on this bug http://svn.autoitscript.com/trac/ticket/90 these functions require admin rights. I have used the previous function, RunAsSet, and this function did not have this requirement. I was just wondering if this was going to be the norm now going forward and why it is a requirement now. I used to use the RunAsSet to install software on people's computers who only have Power User rights. Let me know if you need any more explanation. evilertoaster
since it only affects a beta version I would say at this point it's not 'the norm' since things are subject to change before the actual release comes out. As long as the operating system still allows you do to a runas natively without being an administrator, i think it's save to assume it will always be an accessable feature via autoit.
