Legacy99
If you running Windows XP, just get Microsoft's SteadyState and lock the PC down in Kiosk Mode then use a custom Host file from http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm We have had pretty good luck with this combo. sulfurious
Seems like a lot of work when you could just use this netsh interface ip set address "local area connection" gateway=192.168.1.111 gwmetric=0 and then this to restore netsh interface ip set address "local area connection" gateway=192.168.1.1 gwmetric=0 That leaves you with lan but no wan. I have three younglings, 4,7 & 10. All have thier own pc. All are way too advanced already, so I am confident they will know how to bypass simple measures at some point. For now this works well. But, as was once said Luke, there are alternatives. Seems like if you want real protection you need a router with a strong password locked in a box with a padlock so the 'reset' button can't be depressed Sul. Bert
I needed to do something like this for a client. I used IMLock, specify the professional edition. It does cost 50$, but it does the trick nicely. However, if someone would like to make a AutoIt version..... Bert
because it blocks just about everything you need - IE, P2P, websites, any app, easy to configure, password protected, blocks ports, and more. Using content advisor isn't enough to block P2P or IM chat programs. The Vollatran project  My blog: http://www.vollysinterestingshit.com/
