Needing Windows XP Restart help

Recommended Posts

I am new to using Autoit. I hope someone can help. I am creating an installer and there are times that I need to restart the computer and would like the Autoit thread to resume from where it left off after the restart. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

what about
Shutdown(2)

The shutdown code is a combination of the following values:

0 = Logoff

1 = Shutdown

2 = Reboot

4 = Force

8 = Power down

32= Standby

64= Hibernate

Create several Commandline switches for it so that on restart it knows what function to go to, then use the RunOnce key in the registry. Code (preferably commented) will be required if you need further help though.

Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.

Be sure to read and follow the forum rules. -AKA the AutoIt Reading and Comprehension Skills test.***

The PCRE (Regular Expression) ToolKit for AutoIT - (Updated Oct 20, 2011 ver:3.0.1.13) - Please update your current version before filing any bug reports. The installer now includes both 32 and 64 bit versions. No change in version number.
