Is there a workaround for Vista's UAC

Recommended Posts

stanch

I am the sole operator/administrator of a personal desktop. My goal is to run my maintenance programs (cleanup, defrag, virus and spyware scans) without user intervention via scheduled tasks. I would rather not turn off the UAC. I am brand new to AutoIt. I know nothing of scripting but I am willing to put in the time to learn. But, if UAC is a show stopper, I would like to know up front.

Thanks,

stanch

Thank you,

I had found and tried "#RequireAdmin". But, I just hadn't thought it through. I think I see what I need to do now. This is kinda' fun.

Thanks for your help, BigDod
