Why autoit can't see the text of the dir/address control in explorer?

Posted Image (sry for the big size)

Change "Edit in GUICtrlGetText() To "Edit1" and it should work.

I couldn't get it to work either. I tried this as well:

AutoItSetOption("WinTitleMatchMode", 4)

$hWnd = WinGetHandle("[CLASSNAME:CabinetWClass; TITLE:C:\]", "")

$editControl = ControlGetHandle($hWnd,"","Edit1")

MsgBox(0,"",$hWnd & @CRLF & ControlGetText ($hWnd,"",$editControl))

Try this in place of line 10 of your script:

Local $dir = ControlGetText("[Active]", "", "[CLASSNN:Edit1]")
