Realtime screen viewing, help

i'm basically working on fixing this for the new autoit version, I fogured out how to fix it so it at least runs, now I need to come up with an alternative to the screen capture that it originally did, because it will not work in the new version of autoit, at first I figured captdll.dll woudl work, well sending images over tcp would be kinda laggy on dial up, i want it to be like VNC, where it doesnt take forever to load the image. I'm not sure hwo the vnc version works though, does it load squared mini screnshots (sections of the screen) individually and update that way, or is there another way to send a screenshot quicker?
