Is there a way to have an array of windows title bars. So i can keep track of count of windows open and /or check other misc. stuff?

I though of any array, but autoit doesn't allow dynamically allocated arrays.

Would I have to do an api call or is it possible w/autoit?

thanks,

david :idiot:

Newest AutoIt beta has a WinList function :idiot:

WinList ( ["title" [, "text"]] )

If no title and text is given then all top-level windows are returned.

The array returned is two-dimensional and is made up as follows:

$array[0][0] = Number of windows returned

$array[1][0] = 1st window title

$array[1][1] = 1st window handle (HWND)

$array[2][0] = 1st window title

$array[2][1] = 1st window handle (HWND)

...

$array[n][0] = nth window title

$array[n][1] = nth window handle (HWND)

That's great! A WinList() function. I was looking for something like that a while back. Thanks again AutoIt.
