Help with calling or initiating a javascript()

5 posts in this topic

<td id="zoomin_button" style="padding-bottom: 2px; padding-left: 20px">

<ul id="buttonh">

<li class="zoomin">

<a href="" class="zoomin"

onclick="return false"

onmousedown="return startZoomIn();"

onmouseup="return stopZoomIn();"

onmouseover="window.status='zoom in'; return true;"

onmouseout="window.status=''; stopThreads()">&nbsp;

</a>

</li>

</ul>

</td>

How can I use the id=zoomin_button or the class=zoomin to initiate any of the onclick/onmousedown/onmouseup actions??

I have used the fireEvent, _ieaction("click") but with no luck

Seems to me you've asked this question before. Unless you show code, share a website and/or try to create a reproducer for testing you won't get any further this time by starting back at square 1.

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble

Three questions:

- What did you do?

- What did you expect to happen?

- What happend instead?

This wisdom was taken from someones signature, and I agree with it.
