ianternet Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 I currently have quite exhaustive logon scripts for our XP systems, written using WSH/VBScript and outputting to a GUI. The GUI we use does not appear to be compatible with Vista, so I have been looking around for an alternative, but before I spend time learning AutoIt, I wanted to satisfy myself whether or not logon scripts would run without interference from the UAC. I presume that there must be quite a substantial user base using AutoIt for logon scripts on Vista and would appreciate any comments/advice you may have. Cheers Ian
ianternet Posted May 13, 2008 Author Posted May 13, 2008 Judging by the lack of response, the user base is obviously far less than I anticipated. Oh well....back to the drawing board.
