Q: How to force a script to live in a virtual desktop (with the Virtual Desktop Manager powertoy)

Recommended Posts

n00b question:

Microsoft has a "Virtual Desktop Manager" powertoy which gives XP users the feature of multiple desktops (like we are used to in X for *n*x). Is there a way to have an AutoIT script live inside Desktop number n, so that every process it does is in this desktop (visible or not), every window and process it opens goes to this desktop, and -- apart from the applications actually running -- the user will not see these actions as long as user does not visit this desktop?

Take a look at VirtuaWin.
