Syntax highlighting on kate.

Kate stores its syntax highlighting data in xml files. Does autoit have some sort of syntax highlighting db file which can be easily parsed into something I need?

Check the syntax files, maybe they are easily parsed.

"If you don't want to use SciTe or have your own favorite editor then AutoIt comes with syntax files for the following editors "out of the box":

* Textpad

* Crimson Editor

* PSPad

The syntax files for these are stored in the Extras \ Editors directory of the AutoIt installation. "
