@ScriptDir

Recommended Posts

Hey,

What is the easiest way to get the Parent of @ScriptDir?...... that is jsut one level up from @ScriptDir

I can figure out how to get it but to me it seems like there should be an easy way to do this and I want to avoid complicating my logic .... isn't there like an @ScriptDirParent or something

monoceres just likes simplicity.

Here is a function that gets the parent of any folder

;
Func _Fldr_GetParent($sFldr)
   If StringRight($sFldr, 1) = "\" Then $sFldr = StringTrimRight($sFldr, 1)
   Return StringLeft($sFldr, StringInStr($sFldr, "\", 0, -1) -1)
EndFunc   ;<===> _Fldr_GetParent()
;
