including quotes as part of the guictrlread

Recommended Posts

it currently doesnt capture spaces if the user enters something with spaces

how or where would i put them?

currently, the user would have to manually enter the quotes around their entry

$process=GUICtrlCreateInput("",85,20,120,25)

RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & "c:\cg\support\pskill.exe \\" & GUICtrlRead($asset) & " " & GUICtrlRead($process))

what about just wrapping the input in quotes?

$process=GUICtrlCreateInput("",85,20,120,25)

RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & "c:\cg\support\pskill.exe \\" & GUICtrlRead($asset) & " '" & GUICtrlRead($process))&"'"

Maybe more like this:
RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c c:\cg\support\pskill.exe \\' & GUICtrlRead($asset) & ' "' & GUICtrlRead($process) & '"')

:)
