Can Scripts be run in the background

2 posts in this topic

I have written a script that will go to the hypher link in the Excel file (an internet page) and grep data from the page and do some manipulation based on the data.

Since it does that for number of rows it takes about an hour. Is there any way to run this script in the background , which will enable me to do my routine work in the computer.

The _IECreate() function will allow you to create an invisible browser window. Take a look in the help file at the _IE functions.
