How to get the focus of current window

I must be over looking something obvious. Ive spent a while and cant seem to find exactly what I need.

What I need to do is simple. I click a webpage, hit a hotkey to save a reference to the page so that I can set focus to the page later on. The title of the page will be random so I cant set focus based on the title. I have a feeling im missing something easy.
