Check all check boxes in an application window?

Recommended Posts

I have used AutoIT for several scripting projects in the past, but I was just asked to help automate something and I am not sure it can be done.

My officemate has an application (not web based) that has literally thousands of checkboxes that all have to be checked (and their is no "select all" option). I can provide a screenshot if it would help.

Is there any way to use the ControlCommand function (or any other function) to do this? I did several searches and did not come up with anything. Can this be accomplished? If so, maybe someone could push me in the right direction?

Thanks!

OK, I ran the utility and under the Control Under Mouse section on some of the checkboxes it shows a ControlID # (14843992), but some of the checkboxes (like the top level boxes) do not have a ControlID. On most it says (Control is Hidden).

Thanks again for walking me through this.. I really appreciate the help. Please let me know if there is any other info I need to gather.
