Alterego Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 The spy isn't able to detect characteristics of windows contained in a Remote Desktop session - but what if I installed it on the remote computer, got the characteristics, and then created a script on my computer with those characteristics? You might ask why, but there are some useful possibilities for automation to be had here. For example, to logon to my server remotely I must type in my username/password twice - once here, and then once there to unlock the screensaver. This sucks, as it is a very long and annoying password Just seeing if what I want to do is even possible before I dive in too deeply. This dynamic web page is powered by AutoIt 3.
Alterego Posted January 8, 2005 Author Posted January 8, 2005 Nevermind that last comment. This software is jaw droppingly amazing. I can't believe you guys are offering it for free. I am happily scripting away my entire life with the AU3Recorder. This dynamic web page is powered by AutoIt 3.
