I am new to autiit and i want to know how to script i don know how to read the language i have downloaded autoit 1 2 3.. from a fourm it wasnt much help at all if anyne has any advice please tell me....Thank-You

See if that link helps you, it's the closest to a newbie guide as you'll get here.

In my experiences here, answering as many posts as I have, the easiest way to start coding, is to have a general idea of what you would like to accomplish.

After you finish that first task, the next comes a bit easier with the retention you gained from the previous ones.

If you don't have a specific goal in mind... stop... find one... then come back .

Have a look at Online Documentation http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/, there are also 3 tutorial examples.

Also the AutoIt Help file is very useful.

There is a tutorial with the help file that came with AutoIt.

It has some tutorials that cover some basics.
