storme Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Great program! I use Wget all the time but usually in Batch files. Could I suggest that a new feature could be to add files from a text file? That would make it perfect for me. Well done I'll be adding it to my memory stick for on-site downloading. storme Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 One other thing that would be good is to be able to select the directory to download to. Use the one you have stored as a default but give the user an option to save it somewhere else. One bit of confustion that I forgot to mention is that when the program is "first" started it brings up the directory selection without explainaiton. I guessed correctly that it was the download directory but it would be better if your users didn't have to guess. Garp99HasSpoken Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Could I suggest that a new feature could be to add files from a text file? That would make it perfect for me. Perhaps being able to right-click on a text file and have WgetGUI work as a right click context option, which loads the URLs from the file and starts to process right away. Also an option to play a sound when all URLs are done downloading, so that you don't have to keepchecking on the status. This way I can check the downloaded stuff as soon as it completes.
