Smtp email problem :(

Recommended Posts

I using this http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=23860 script for days and it was working fine. Now it doesn't.... I don't know why.

I use gmail smtp and I get this error:

Error code:2 Rc:The message could not be sent to the SMTP server. The transport error code was 0x80040217. The server response was not available

I repeat, it was working before :) maybe there's something wrong from google's side?

There is not much we can do for you here based on the provided information.

Did you install some firewall software ?

Just tested your posted script with a gmail account I just created and it all works fine.

Only changes I made were the username/password and the file to attach.

It all worked fine.

You are right, there's nothing wrong with the script. I tried _INetSmtpMail and I got this error:

@ERROR = 5x - Cannot open SMTP session. x indicates the index number of last command issued to the SMTP server.

Anyone knows what could be the problem?
