You need to put in a controlID or some text on the control in order to send the message String $TEST to the specific control.

ControlSend ( "title", "text", controlID, "string" [, flag] )

Use the AutoIt Window Info to find the ControlID or the text on the control..

Regards

I was reading your topic again and you should not put your variable into quotes, since all variables has a toString() function that convert it into a string and this will be called implicit.. just put in the variable..

The other thing I said about the controlID or the text. was that I think you need to give the controlsend some more info, but I'm not quite sure it depends on the control you wish to send to offcause..

Regards
