.au3 to .exe

when I run my script from the script editor window, I can print the code line in case there is an error.

whe I run the .exe script it prints a 1 instead of the actual code line number.

how do I make the .exe to print the script line numbers or compile it with debug enabled???

I understand what you want to do but the only thing I can think of is to add filewrite() statements to a tracelog file or something like that when you want the "trace" a compiled script.

There is no line nbr information because the compiled script is stripped of its commentlines.
